Gary Iverson
Board President
Mildred Eual Center Board Members
Mr. Iverson is a Grambling State University graduate.  He has a Master's Science Degree in Development Education.  Mr. Iverson believes in helping others through developing leadership skills that build on their exceptional talents.
Our Board Members are comprised of community leaders within the North Louisiana Region.  Our board members are essential to the success of the program.
Joey Miller
Board Vice President
​Mr. Miller is a graduate of Northwestern State University. Joey has a passion for public safety and community revitalization.  He serves as on the Coushatta Police Department.
Mildred Black
Board Treasurer
​Mrs. Black is a community philanthropist and gives back to rural areas through volunteerism and community events.  She is the proud mother of three and loves being a new retiree.
Erma Mitchell
Resource Community Liaison
​Ms. Mitchell is a Certified Credit Counselor and holds a degree in Arts and Public Administration.
Ms. Erma has a passion for educating the public regarding credit literacy. She enjoys being a retired educator and giving back to the community.

Brenda Iverson
Board Chaplain
Mrs. Iverson is a gradute of Grambling State University with a Master' in Science Developmental Education.
She believes that education awareness always emphasizes the belief that each individual has self worth.
Alexandra Jones Stewart
Medical Community Liaison
Alexandra Jones Stewart, APRN, FNP-BC is a native of Shreveport, LA. Alexandra is the wife of Shreveport native Mr. Keenan Stewart, mother to three beautiful, extraordinary daughters.  She completed her Degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grambling State University in 2002; Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern University Baton Rouge in 2007 and her Degree of Master’s of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner from Northwestern State University in 2011. In addition to volunteer services within the community, Alexandra constantly strives to seek community resources directly available or avenues to assist the elderly and vulnerable population with needed services through contacts she may connect with at work or throughout the community. One of her favorite daily motto’s to work by on the job: “you won’t know if you don’t ask.”
Julie Perkins - Sers
Health Community Liaison
​Mrs. Sers has a degree in Business Administration Education with an emphasis in Finance from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. Mrs. Sers has a passion for people development and helping one be their best self; she thrives when she is in a role where she can influence and coach someone to reach their goals. She wholeheartedly believes in helping the most vulnerable members of our communities be their best self. It's a tribute for me to my biological parents who I lost at 14 & 16 years.
